What is peer-reviewed?

A peer-reviewed article is an article that was written by an expert, and then evaluated by other experts in the field before being published.

How can I tell if an article is peer-reviewed?

If it is an article through the library, it will say 'Peer-Reviewed' in the description.

If it is an article that is not available through the library, it may say somewhere on the article or you can look up the publishers website to see if that journal goes through the peer-reviewed process.

Interlibrary Loans

If you find an article that our library doesn't have, we can request it for you from another library through a digital interlibrary loan. It typically takes 1-3 business days to get the article, and we'll send it directly to your college email.

To request an interlibrary loan, fill out the Interlibrary Loan Request Form.
